What is dropshipping?
Dropshipping is a sales model in which you sell products in your online store without holding them in your own warehouse. When a customer buys from you, the supplier, in this case GreenIce LED, prepares the order and ships it directly to your customer.
You focus on selling and looking after your customers. We take care of stock and shipping.
How it works with GreenIce LED
- Trade account. You need a trade customer account on b2b.greenice.com linked to your company. If you don't have one yet, ask your sales representative or write to dropshipping@greenice.com.
- Set up your catalogue. In the Dropshippers section, choose the categories you want to sell, the file format (CSV, XML or JSON) and the language of the texts.
- Import it into your store. Download the file or copy the fixed link to your catalogue and load it into your online store with your product importer or an import plugin.
- Sell. Your customers buy in your store, under your brand and at your selling prices.
- We ship. GreenIce LED prepares the order and ships it directly to your customer.

Tips to sell more
- Customise the descriptions. Use our product details as a starting point and adapt titles and texts to your style and to what your customers search for. Unique texts rank better on Google than duplicated ones.
- Start with a few categories. Choose the product families that best fit your audience, see how they perform and expand later.
- Work out your margin carefully. When setting your selling price, take into account the product cost, shipping, payment gateway or marketplace fees, and advertising.
- Automate updates. Schedule your store to read your catalogue link regularly so you don't sell out-of-stock products or show outdated prices.
- Be clear about delivery times. Show delivery times and your shipping and returns policy in your store to avoid queries and complaints.
- Add value. Help your customers choose: colour temperature, equivalent wattage, base type and IP rating are common questions in lighting.
- Check your first import. Make sure each column in the file is mapped to the right field in your store: reference, name, price, stock and images.
