Each street light integrates its own photovoltaic panel, battery and LED luminaire, so it charges during the day and switches on by itself at dusk. Types of solar LED street lights

All-in-one solar street lights

Panel, battery and LED integrated in a single body. They install directly on a pole or wall and are the quickest to fit. We offer models with IP65 and IP67 protection, in neutral (4000 K) or cool (6000 K) light, and some versions in a gray finish.

Solar street lights with separate panel

The panel is mounted separately and can be aimed south to capture more sun, which is useful when the luminaire has to sit in shade or face a particular direction. They include 3.2 V batteries from 15,000 to 35,000 mAh depending on the model.

Solar garden lights

Round or rectangular solar luminaires designed for gardens, walkways and residential developments, with a more decorative design.

Common features

• Dusk sensor: automatic switch-on at dusk and switch-off at dawn.
• Motion sensor: the street light runs at low intensity and brightens when it detects people or vehicles, extending runtime.
• Remote control: lets you adjust operating modes, timers and intensity.

How to choose a solar LED street light

Actual luminous flux

With solar street lights, the model's advertised wattage isn't always the LED's actual wattage. Look at the lumens and the panel and battery specifications given in each datasheet.

Panel and battery

A larger panel charges the battery faster, and a higher-capacity battery gives more hours of runtime, which is key in winter or in areas with few hours of sunlight.

IP rating

For outdoor use, a minimum of IP65; IP67 offers superior protection against water and dust.

Color temperature

4000 K for residential areas and 6000 K for parking lots or areas where visibility is the priority; some models offer 2700 K for a warmer ambiance.

Height and location

Install the street light where it gets direct sun for much of the day, with no shade from trees or buildings on the panel.

Yes, although they charge less. That's why it's important to choose a battery with good capacity and use motion-detection mode.
