Decorative Lamps for Bedrooms

Decorative lamps for bedrooms are what turn the room into a place of rest: warm, soft light exactly where you need it. At GreenIce we bring together table lamps, reading wall lights and floor lamps that combine design and LED technology to make reading, getting dressed or unwinding before sleep more pleasant.

Which decorative lamps to choose for the bedroom

• Bedside lamps: portable LED models with USB charging and touch control that you can move around without relying on a socket, plus classic-style lamps such as the banker's lamp. See our table lamps.
• Reading wall lights: flexible or adjustable 3 W models with CREE chips, and even models with a USB port and wireless phone charging base. Discover our reading wall lights.
• Decorative wall lights: glass globes and wall designs that provide indirect ambient light.
• Designer floor lamps: for a reading nook next to an armchair.

The ideal light for resting

The bedroom calls for warm, low-intensity light, especially in the hours before sleep. Instead of a single powerful ceiling lamp, combine several light points at different heights: a lamp on each side of the bed, a wall light for reading without disturbing your partner and indirect light to set the mood. 2000–2700 K vintage filament bulbs give a very cozy amber tone in lamps where the bulb is on show.

How to choose a lamp for the bedroom

Color temperature

Stick to 2700 K or lower for ambient light. For reading, slightly more neutral light (3000 K) with good color rendering is easier on the eyes.

Directed light for reading

A flexible or adjustable wall light focuses light on the book and avoids lighting up the whole room.

Dimming and control

Touch lamps with several brightness levels let you gradually lower the light before sleep.

Style and size

Match the lamp's height to the nightstand and bed: the shade should sit at eye level when you're sitting up so it doesn't dazzle.
